One year now from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident,
the major issue to deal with in a long term is the radioactive Cs (r-Cs). One of the important technologies for the r-Cs decontamination is the Cs-adsorbent from solutions. Among the Cs-adsorbents, Prussian blue-type complexes are known by their high adsorption efficiency and high selectivity. In this talk, I introduce the behavior of Cs in environment and the Cs-uptake technology with Prussian blue family.
