Symposium of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology in Taiwan (BIT) 2011

announcer:Wen-chi Lin

The Symposium of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology in Taiwan (BIT) was initiated by National Yang-Ming University in 2003 and has grown to become the leading and the largest annual bioinformatics conference in Taiwan. In 2008, the conference was hold jointly with the International Conference on Bioinformatics (InCoB), which is the official conference of the Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Network (APBioNet).
BIT provides a platform for researchers in Taiwan to interact with foreign and domestic experts in the fields of bioinformatics and systems biology. We hope to set up a stage for attracting scientists not only to increase their exposure to cutting edge technological and scientific advances but also for multilateral collaborations.
For BIT 2011, selected outstanding posters of each topic will be presented with the Excellent Poster Awards. Posters reporting on the latest research in all areas of bioinformatics and systems biology are sought. Typical but not exclusive topics of interests include:

* Genomics, Transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics
* Systems biology and networks
* Structural bioinformatics
* Medical informatics

Each poster abstract is limited to 2 pages, including title, figures, tables, text, and references. Abstracts to BIT2011 must be submitted through the online EasyChair conference system. Please see below for formatting templates that must be used for submitting poster abstracts.
