研究主題

批式結晶操作

許多高附加價值之化學品藉由結晶而純化,且絕大部分結晶操作透過分批發酵法。我們發展的方式是讓工程師快速確認近乎最適結晶操作方式,而不需耗時的模型辨識與最適化步驟。


 

連續式結晶製程之操作與控制

為了降低成本與提高效率,愈來愈多結晶產品(例如:藥物)之製造商正試圖從分批發酵法轉變到連續生產。我們研究連續結晶製程之整廠控制,其目的在於幫助工程師了解當不同單元操作連接在一起時(有回流與不回流),這些程序如何運行,以及如何設計控制結構以達到良好的可操作性與近乎最適經濟操作。


 

製程強化

製程強化為一重要方法,其在於減少對環境衝擊與提高化學製程效率,製程強化是將傳統各別操作之程序單元結合。例如:反應蒸餾(結合反應與蒸餾)和熱偶或隔板式蒸餾(結合兩個或兩個以上之蒸餾塔)。我們發展簡捷設計法來評估可行性和預期效益,並促進其迅速之概念性設計。
