研究主題

光催化還原二氧化碳生產再生能源
光觸媒進行光催化還原CO2生產碳氫化合物,是模擬植物光合作用,具有再生能源和降低CO2的優點,類似人工光合作用。光觸媒TiO2和Cu/TiO2以均相水解式溶凝膠法來製造,在水溶液進行CO2光催化反應,生成甲醇為主的有機物,可當能源或化石原料。結果顯示Cu/TiO2的光催化效率大為增加,是因為電子ㄧ電洞再結合的機率降低的緣故。檢測Cu/TiO2的特性,顯示活性基是一價氧化銅(Cu+),銅的負戴量和分散度有最適值以達到最高甲醇產率。

 

可見光應答光觸媒
摻雜過渡金屬於二氧化鈦中,將原本只吸收UV光的二氧化鈦,轉成同時吸收可見光和UV光。在亞甲基藍的光催化脫色測試,証實所合成的V/TiO2光觸媒具有可見光催化能力,檢測結果顯示四價釩(V4+)是高度分散於TiO2的四面體結構內

 

新型氮化硼 (BN) 觸媒
創新以Boron Nitride(BN)為觸媒載體,負載鉑(Pt)製備支撐式貴金屬觸媒,用於焚燒空氣中揮發性有機物,以降低空氣污染。在穩態流動反應器進行汽油、苯、甲苯、二甲苯和甲醇深度氧化反應,結果顯示Pt/BN活性比傳統氧化鋁載體佳,可以在較低溫或室溫下即可開始燃燒反應,並可保持長時效活性。本研究指出BN具有特殊的金屬-載體交互作用,因此提升鉑的氧化活性。
