研究主題含界面活性劑系統的濕潤變 我們的實驗工作主要在探討水+油+界面活性劑三成份系統的界面行為。在適當的溫度及組成下,該系統會形成三液相平衡共存。目前我們在研討不同溫度條件下,微量中間相液體分佈在其他兩液相間界面上的形狀,可能有一系列的濕潤變現象:非濕潤行為→部分濕潤行為→完全濕潤行為。我們試圖運用密度函數理論進一步了解其成因。濕潤及非濕潤行為廣泛應用於各種工業上,如:清潔劑、化妝品、染整業、農藥、製藥業、食品工業等。
分子模擬 分子動力學是以牛頓運動方程式來解析數百個乃至於百萬個分子的運動軌跡,這些分子運動軌跡可提供在真實流體實驗中無法得到之熱力學及細部結構的微觀性質。我們運用分子動力學方法來瞭解氫鍵對相行為的影響;計算小分子在沸石孔洞中的擴散係數。
