研究主題

膠體粒子之泳動
若施加一非均勻場(例如溫度、溶質濃度、電位等)於微、奈米粒子,此非均勻場將與粒子表面交互作用而使粒子運動,這種現象稱為「泳動」,包括帶電粒子之電泳與擴散泳,液滴與氣膠粒子之熱泳以及半滲透囊胞之滲透泳。本研究室目前正在進行各種泳動現象的粒子與粒子間以及粒子與邊界間流體力學交互作用之理論研究。此研究的應用領域可廣及於膠體分離,材料製程,以及生物粒子之運動。

 

界面高分子之動力學
粒子表面吸附高分子對於控制膠體懸浮液之穩定性與凝聚現象具有重要的影響。進行薄膜分離時,於多孔薄膜吸附高分子則可用以控制其滲透度以及消除孔隙分佈之不良效應。本研究室目前正在進行研究一表面吸附高分子之微、奈米粒子於一細孔中或鄰近於另一粒子時之運動現象。同時進行的研究亦包括一表面吸附高分子電解質之粒子或孔隙的電動力現象。
