植物細胞培養 研究著重在能有效培養轉殖毛狀根並能大量生產二次代謝產物L-DOPA之反應器。噴霧滴流式反應器有相當良好的性能,正針對饋料(氮源及碳源)之策略加以改進。植物體胚細胞之誘導、培養與研究植物發生學及開發育種及人工種子關係密切。研究重點在尋找誘導體胚細胞之關鍵因素(生化及物理因素) 生物分離 花青素對白內障,糖尿病之醫治甚有效,為一良好的抗氧化劑。從台灣桑椹利用萃取、快速層析及逆相層析法分離純化花青素,以為健康食品及醫藥之用。從菸草葉經組織細胞培養,生產輔酵素Q10。經細胞培養獲得高Q10含量之菸草細胞,再經分離純化以期獲致高純度、高產量之Q10產物。 功能性生物聚合物 研究目標在以醱酵法合成含官能基(如-C=C-,苯環等)之聚羥基烷酯聚合物。研究著重在碳源基質之選擇及饋料方式,醱酵條件之探討。
