電化學工程
電化學技術已廣泛應用於許多領域如電鍍、表面處理、腐蝕、電池、感測器、廢水處理、電子工業等。主要研究工作是將電化學與工程之基本原理用到各種電化學系統上,通常它涉及表面之電極動力學、電流流動,流體力學、質量傳遞及化學反應等。在理論上建立數學模式並與實驗結果相比較。最近之研究包括電化學之藥物傳送、鋰電池之模擬等。

廢水與土壤處理
電化學技術如電解、電浮除及電凝聚在廢水處理上有某些應用。我們研究如何從稀薄溶液進行金屬回收以及電解去除有毒化學物質。目前正探討孔隙性物質之電動力現象,以及進行受污染土壤之電動力處理整治。

電子材料製程之旋轉塗佈研究
在半導體製程中涉及許多晶圓片旋轉之單元操作,如旋轉塗佈、玻璃塗佈等。目前正研究微影蝕刻製程之旋轉塗佈。
