Rhodococcus NTU-1環境生物製劑
本實驗室自本土原油污泥分離出Rhodococcus NTU-1菌並開發其應用,本實驗室能利用該菌生物降解及物理包覆之機制於2~4天將含油污水中清除乾淨,相對一般生物處理多需數月才能有明顯成效,實驗油污對象涵蓋柴油、原油等.利用該菌乾燥粉末製成之生物凝聚劑更可於半天內成功包覆油污,同時此生物製劑亦經實驗證明可應用於(油/水/乳化劑)系統之去乳化。

程序強化: 超重力分離技術
程序強化是一個相對新穎的化工概念,其目的在希望能大幅提升效率,進而縮小化工單元設施之尺寸.本實驗室主要在利用超重力場達成提升質傳及熱傳效率之概念,此一效率提升經實驗證明可達一至三個數量級,因此更能夠明顯降低設備大小及成本,並提升工業安全。本實驗室除對此新概念設備設計研發,其應用範圍涵蓋吸收(例:揮發性有機廢氣)、氣提(例:生質柴油中甲醇)、至藥物及材料微粒化均有涉獵。
